Nobody will really read this but IDK where else to discuss it.
Whenever I happen to see articles/photos about haute couture designs, I always see a slew of stupid comments by ignorant people saying crap. Some of my personal favorites include examples like :
"Those models are anorexic, they have no curves blablabla they're not real women "
"Who would wear this ugly crap, it's meant for a freakshow"
"OMG is this what fashion is nowadays? Back in MY day women looked like women blablabla we need to bring the 50's back"
I could go into greater detail about everything wrong with those statements, but I won't. Don't want to turn this into an essay. To sum it up, I just want to say:
To ignorant-ass young people, ignorant-ass old people stuck in the past, and ignorant-ass middle-aged people sitting at your PCs: You don't know about fashion if you think it's only casual wear. Women don't exist solely to meet your standards of beauty. Everybody has different styles and tastes.
